Choosing a wedding ring can be simple but, there are a few choices to consider to get the ring that is right for you.  Whilst best to call in at the shop to chat through these options, a few things to consider are as follows.

Which Metal?

Platinum: The Rolls Royce of precious metals, a grey/white in colour, the hardest wearing.

Gold: Pure gold is measured as 24ct, therefore 18ct gold means that 18 of the 24 parts are gold, the other 6 parts are different alloys. By changing those alloys, you can change the colour from Yellow, to Red or White. The white has a creamy colour to it so will be Rhodium plated to make it bright and pure white. Please note that Rhodium does wear after a while but I will always re-polish and re-rhodium your ring again in the future free of charge.

Palladium: Like Platinum, a pure white colour, fairly hard wearing, lighter and approximately ¼ cost. Very popular this year with Gents who may not be able to afford a platinum option yet wants the white colour that will not fade.

Free Sample Service

The Ladies ring should compliment the engagement ring, not compete with it.  The ring may have be shaped or connect to fit with the engagement ring.  

The Gents ring can often prove harder to choose as they can all seem strange to the Groom if he is not used to wearing ring!

If it helps either party, I will happily make a silver model ring for you, in your specific size for you to try to be sure that it is the design you want. It is better to find out if any small changes are required, or if the design does not suit you at all, at this stage rather than after the actual ring has been made. It is not always clear from a design or illustration.

I do not advertise, relying on word of mouth, and therefore want to make my service the best it can be.   For example I will always resize your wedding ring in the future or, happily re-polish it to restore it to its original beauty, all free of charge.  Likewise, I will happily re-polish the ladies engagement ring upon collection, again free of charge.
